Delta Eta Chapter was founded at the University of Delaware on March 13, 1948. The chapter closed in 1972, but reopened shortly thereafter in 1975 and remained active until 1998. The chapter reopened a second time in 2002, but closed again in 2014. The chapter reopened in 2020.
