Grady M. Weeks served in the U.S. Air Force as a Staff Sergeant with the 13th Bomber Squadron, 3rd Bomber Wing during the Korean War. A Tail Gunner of a B-26B Invader bomber, he disappeared after his crew bailed out during a night intruder mission on August 8, 1952. He was listed as missing in action and was presumed dead on December 31, 1953. He is memorialized on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial, Hawaii. He was awarded the Distinguished Flying Cross, Air Medal with 9 Oak Leaf Clusters, Purple Heart, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
