Frederick Southgate Taylor Jr., son of Pike Founder Frederick Southgate Taylor, replies to an inquiry from Grand Historian Hart saying that he does not have additional information about his father's college life, but he is absolutely sure his father did not serve in the Confederate Army. Hart's original letter is also part of the collection.
