Country music singer/songwriter Tim McGraw was born on May 1, 1967 in Delhi, Louisiana. He attended Northeast Louisiana University (now the University of Louisiana, Monroe) where he was a member of Eta Omicron Chapter. In 1987, he moved with is mother to Jacksonville, Florida and transferred to Florida Community College for one term. In 1989, he dropped out of college to pursue a musical career in Nashville. McGraw's first single, "What Room Was the Holiday In,m" was released on March 29, 1991. Since then, he has released 15 studio albums, 10 of which have reached number 1 on the Top Country Alumbs charts. He has also won three Grammy Awards, 14 Academy of Country Music awards, 11 Country Music Association awards, 10 American Music Awards, and three People's Choice Awards. He has been married to singer Faith HIll since 1996, they have three children.
