Edgar E. Scott served in the U.S. Army as a Lieutenant with the 687th Anti-Aircraft Machine Gun Battery, 18th Airborne Battalion during World War II. He was killed on March 24, 1945, while protecting an important airfield at Meiktila, Burma.
