Martin, Corporal Herbert Bradley

Herbert Martin served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal with Company I, 30th Engineers during World War I. He was killed in action on August 5, 1918 when he was killed by an artillery shell while standing guard duty near Chery-Chartreuve, France. He had enlisted in December 1917 and sailed for France in March the following year.
