James E. Walker served in the United States Navy Reserve as a Lieutenant with the Fleet Air Wing #16 during World War II. Assigned to the Parnamirim Airport base at Natal, Brazil, he died on December 22, 1943, in an automobile accident. He is buried near Natal, Brazil.
