Francis E. Parrack served in the U.S. Army Air Forces as a Corporal during World War II. Working in cryptography with the 24th Airways and Communication Service Squadron, Parrack was killed on November 23, 1943, when his Jeep struck a stone wall in England during a blackout, presumably delivering a message.
