Moreland Jr., Capt. Harry Drinnen

Harry Moreland, Jr. served in the U.S. Army as a Captain in the Headquarters Battery, 159th Field Artillery Battalion, 25th Infantry Division during the Korean War. A veteran of World War II, he was listed as missing in action in military operations in North Korea on October 27, 1952, and presumed dead on March 30, 1954. His name is inscribed on the Courts of the Missing at the Honolulu Memorial, Hawaii. He received the following decorations: Purple Heart, American Campaign Medal, World War II Victory Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean War Service Medal (US), United Nations Service Medal with KOREA bar, Korean War Service Medal (ROK), and Republic of Korea Presidential Unit Citation ribbon.
