Thomas P. Wilson served in the U.S. Army as a First Lieutenant with the Company C, 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division during the Korean War. He was killed in action on September 1, 1950. He was awarded the Purple Heart, the Combat Infantryman's Badge, the Korean Service Medal, the United Nations Service Medal, the National Defense Service Medal, the Koran Presidential Unit Citation and the Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
