William F. Webb Jr. served in the U.S. Navy Reserve as an Ensign during World War II. He was reported missing during action in Germany, and eventually declared dead on April 26, 1944. He is memorialized in the Tablets of the Missing, Honolulu Memorial, Hawaii. He was awarded the Purple heart.
