Inman Jr., CPT William Baker

William Inman, Jr. served in the U.S. Army as a Captain with the Air Transport Command, Military Transport Division, during World War II. He was reported missing near Haiti on May 7, 1943. He had been piloting a plane with supplies for the Army in Africa when the plane experienced a left wing engine fire at sea, approximately 800 miles off of Miami, Florida.
