Wallace, CAPT Gary Frank

Gary F. Wallace served in the U.S. Army as a Captain with the Corps of Engineers, Advisory Team 2, Headquarters, Military Assistance Command Vietnam Advisors during the Vietnam War. After serving in Alaska and Germany, Captain Wallace was assigned to Vietnam in October 1966. He was killed on July 20, 1967, when his jeep was blown up a mine in Quang Ngai, South Vietnam. He was awarded the Purple Heart.
