Perry, Col. Norris

Norris Perry served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a Colonel and air inspector with the 2nd Air Division, 8th Air Force during World War II. Colonel Perry was piloting a B-25 aircraft on a training and inspection flight from Middlesboro, Kentucky to Knoxville, Tennessee, when the B-25 encountered fog and bad weather over the Cumberland Mountains and crashed into the side of a mountain, killing all five aboard.
