Jarvis Jensen served in the U.S. Air Force as a Major during the Vietnam War. He died on February 4, 1958 in a car accident near Mesa, Arizona. He had just completed the rigorous two-week survival training course in Washington and had a temporary duty assignment in Arizona while awaiting orders for Vietnam.
