Pon, LT Wallace Maynard

Wallace M. Pon served in the U.S. Army Air Forces as a Second Lieutenant with the 347th Aviation Squadron during World War II. He died on July 8, 1945, in a motorcycle accident in Houston, Texas, while stationed at Aloe Army Air Field, Victoria, Texas, where he received advanced single-engine training for fighter pilots. He was awarded the American Campaign Medal and WWII Victory Medal.
