Ervin Morrison served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a First Lieutenant with the 491st Bomb Squadron, 341st Bomb Group during World War II. He died on March 30, 1944 when the B-25 Mitchell he was piloting exploded on a ferry flight from Mohanbari, India destined for Agra, India.
