Dillard, LT Murrell Jackson

Murrell Dillard served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a First Lieutenant in the 1st Air Commando Group in World War II. He was killed in action on March 4, 1944 when the B-25H Mitchell (43-4259) he was piloting struck a tree and crashed while making a combat sweep of the Irrawaddy River near Tagaung, Burma.
