Albert Duncan served in the U.S. Army Air Corps as a First Lieutenant in the 375th Fighter Squadron, 361st Fighter Group, 8th Air Force in World War II. On April 8, 1944, while on a mission near Siengen, Germany, his aircraft crashed in Alte Piccardie, Germany. He was awarded an Air Medal with 2 Oak Leaf Clusters and the Purple Heart. He is buried in the U.S. Military Cemetery Neuville-en-Condroz in Liege, Belgium.
