David Mock served in the U.S. Army as a Second Lieutenant with the 23rd Infantry Regiment, 2nd Infantry Division during the Korean War. He was killed in action in South Korea on February 8, 1951. He received the following awards: Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman Badge, Korean Service Medal, United Nations Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, Korean Presidential Unit Citation and Republic of Korea War Service Medal.
