Robert A. Smythe to the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity Letter, August 31, 1938

In this letter, Smythe writes to the men assembled at the 1938 Los Angeles Convention and offers that, if it is in the best interest of the Fraternity, he will give up the honorarium that was bestowed on him for life when he retired as Grand Treasurer in 1933. Although the letter is dated 1937, it was likely written in 1938 when the Los Angeles Convention was taking place.
