F. Southgate Taylor to Freeman H. Hart Letter, November 3, 1931
Frederick Southgate Taylor Jr., son of Pike Founder Frederick Southgate Taylor, replies to an inquiry from Grand Historian Hart about his father's activities during the Civil War. Taylor insists that he checked with his siblings, and his father did not serve in the Confederate Army during the Civil War because he was too young. Hart's original letter is also part of the collection.
