Yarbrough mentions playing a piano program on a local radio station and attending a recital by pianist Vladimir Horowitz; he also discusses his family and mutual friends. Yarbrough includes a line in Chinese, with an English translation and anglicanized pronunciation in parenthesis, at the end of the letter.
