Alpha Chapter Official Gavel, c. 1911

This gavel was first used at the 1911 Knoxville Convention. It was made from a piece of the wood mantel in the room where the Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity was organized, at the University of Virginia on March 1, 1868.
