Robert Melville Burlinson

Robert Burlinson served in the Royal Canadian Air Force as a Pilot Officer in World War II. Burlinson was the observer on a British Blenheim bomber V6380 that, on an anti-shipping mission on September 18, 1941, was shot down in the North Sea following an engagement with 20 enemy fighter craft off Ostend on the Belgian coast near Blankenberge. All three crew members were killed.
