Cecil Aubrey Barnett

Cecil Barnett served in both World War II and the Korean War. In the Korean War, he was a Second Lieutenant in the 5th Cavalry Regiment, 1st Cavalry Division. He was seriously wounded while fighting the enemy on Hill 303 near Weagwan, South Korea on September 4, 1950, and he died from those wounds on September 21, 1950. He was awarded the following awards: Purple Heart, Combat Infantryman's Badge, Korean Service Medal, United National Service Medal, National Defense Service Medal, and Korean War Service Medal.
