Corporal George Frederick Calnan

George Calnan served in the U.S. Army as a Corporal in Company A, 800th Signal Training Regiment in World War II. He entered the service on February 18, 1942. In April 1945 took pneumonia, from which he recovered. On April 22, 1945, he lifted a heavy object and died of a heart injury caused by lifting, due to his weakened condition from pneumonia.
