Sidney Mathias Baxter Coulling Jr.

Sidney Coulling, Jr. served in the U.S. Army as a Private Field Clerk in the 2nd Recruit Company in World War I. When war broke out he was determined to fight for his country. On account of his physical condition he had great difficulty in being able to enter any active fighting service. Finally, however, he was admitted as a field clerk and stationed at Camp Upton, New York. Shortly thereafter, he contracted influenza from which he died in on October 4, 1918.
