1LT Edson Gilroy Armour

Edson Armour served as a First Lieutenant, C/4685 Flying Officer, 434rd Squadron in the Royal Canadian Air Force in World War II. He was killed with the rest of the crew when his Halifax Bomber LL178 crashed into Kepwick Bank Top due to poor visibility when returning from a minelaying mission near Heligoland, Germany on March 18, 1944.
